The type of personal information we collect

Police Money Matters Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy of those Police Federation members that choose to interact with its services.

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • Postal address
  • Email address
  • Contact telephone or mobile number
  • Police Federation
  • Police Rank
  • Retirement date
  • Date of birth or age

How we get the personal information and why we have it

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Information provided by you to register for an event or webinar
  • Information provided by you to register for an appointment
  • Information collected from any communications with you; and
  • Information obtained through events and your feedback

 

We use the information provided in order to process your request to attend an appointment or event. Ensuring services are relevant and appropriate to you.

We will also share your information with select third parties which also provide insight and education to Police Officers through Police Money Matters, including but not exclusively – solicitors and will writers. These firms will be appropriate to the regional location of the Federation and be clearly linked to the event or activity you provide your consent for.

How we store your personal information

Your personal and contact information is securely stored and will only be retained for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, or otherwise as required under applicable laws and regulations. This will be based on your consent and the regularity by which you wish to be communicated with in the future.
